Virtual Learning Platform (VLP)
This is now the landing page when logging in to College computers to centralise teaching and learning.
Quick links/navigation bar
The menu bar above has been changed to include some useful shortcuts to services the College offers.
Online Help Desk
A new Online Help Desk has been setup. This means you can now create tickets at anytime, not just on the College computers. Categories are available for different department requests as well as designating a site that your request is for. We will continue clearing tickets from the old ticket system.
Google email
Email is now using Google Mail. This is accessible via the top menu bar on the Virtual Learning Platform (red and white envelope), the desktop shortcut or by logging in to Google directly. Migration of your existing email (back from 01/01/11) may still be in progress but we can provide access into the old account for reading only. If you attempt to send email in the old account it will not send properly. For your new password to your old account please create a ticket on the new Help Desk and we shall send your password to you.
Desktop shortcuts
Some shortcuts have been altered to coincide with the move towards using Google Apps. The Internet shortcuts will now launch the new Virtual Learning Platform website. Microsoft Office 2013 suite can be launched from the Start Menu shortcuts.
Old links/shortcuts
The old intranet and webmail links are available in the menu bar above and Microsoft Office 2013 suite can be launched from the Start Menu shortcuts.
